Concussion

Second movie in this weekend. After seven pounds I was searching for a good movie to watch. I chose him(will Smith) as a hero. I wanted his movies. Will Smith. So the search has been ended up with Concussion.
This story is about a doctor a Nigerian doctor who comes to America (his dream country) to work. He always wanted to be an American. He does postmortem. He is having lot of degrees in many areas. There are some unique qualities regarding him. Before he starts his work he talks to the dead body. He uses different instruments to do the postmortom. Since he was different he has got enemies too. One day he was appearing a case of a football player. Who went mad on his 50 s and died. Dr Bennett omalu is the name of the hero. Bennett found something strange when  he did the postmortem. He started doing a research. And he found out the truth that football casues brain injury. When they hit their head together it makes damage on their head. He called up a team and published a medical journal. But the authorities was not ready to accept that. And they claimed this work is a flop. Of course they had to say that. Because if people start believing that football makes damages on their brain they will stop playing it. Parents won't send their kids to play football. All the accadamies all the stadiums will go in loss. But Dr Bennet did not quit. He has got more cases he ended up in same conclusion. Football will lead to concussion. He was giving his all personal efforts to make his work successful. He wanted the authorities to believe that he is right. And he wanted to stop the players die in their 50's. Meanwhile he was in love with a girl from his own country Nigeria. She has given full support to Bennet. But didn't work out. Bennett has met a doctor and explained about this problem. This doctor was already aware about this problem. But didn't have scientifical support as Bennett had. They both worked together to convince the authorities. But the result was negative. Later on Bennett and his wife lost their child when she was carrying. They had to leave the city. Bennett resigned his job in New York city and they both moved to California and began a new life
Three years later they heard a news that a football player was shot himself because he was mad in his 50s. The reason was CTE. This was exactly what Dr Bennett proposed and published three years back. The authorities called Bennett up and admitted that he was right. Later on he was placed in American health department. So his dream comes true. He came to America because he wanted to be an American citizen. Now the government itself awarded him the recognition because of his work.
This is all about medical field so a common man may find little bit difficult to understand the story. But overall I have liked the movie. Seems like it's a story based on reality. Looking forward to watch good movies in coming days.
