Chernobyl

Chernobyl. This is a HBO mini series which is streaming in Hotstar. I have got to know about this series from my friends. One of my friends gave me 5 episodes of this series and insisted to watch. Since I was following some series on Netflix I didn't get time to watch. Finally after I finished every series I found time to watch Chernobyl.
Chernobyl was a nuclear plant which was situated in USSR. In 1986 there was an explosion and it caused many deaths and it left many people struggle their live afterwards. This series is about the explosion and their survival. This is more about science and nuclear energy. So we may find some difficult to understand the terms. After the reckless works of some employees in the factory it lead to explode. So USSR government which was lead by Gorbachev has appointed a committee to study about the consequences and solutions. This committee was included many people. But the main role was played by a professor legasov. He was the one who was examining the situation and took remedial measures on time. There is one more guy who is from the government side to look after the administrative procedures. And at last there is one more lady who came volunteerly and joining the team. This team is doing an investigation regarding what happened that night. And they drew their conclusions. As we have seen in many movies this team had to deliver their assumptions and drawings in front of the court. But they are refusing to accept it. Later on this professor was committed suicide and his assumptions were accepted after his death. Chernobyl is consisted of 5 episodes 1 hr each. It's a bit lengthy. There is only one season. And this series has been ended. It's getting good reviews from all over the world. I found it just OK only. I didn't see so great series vibe on it.
