My Quarantine days
Well after 5 months i have retured to kerala for a small break from work life. The trip was amazing and i could meet my village people all together at our temple. I came to the temple after so long it was a good experience. I have managed to answer questions of my fellow well wishers in my village regarding my Job, and future marriage plans. Even if they dont know me all are concerned about my marriage. Anyway long time to go for that day. i have met most of my friends in a short span of time. Nobody has changed. Same shitty comedies and gossiping, by the way i have personally enjoyed that. Becase Chennai days are diferent, the fun i get in Chennai is completly diferent level. my home town people can not imagine me having those kind of expriance. After reaching kerala my first mission was to meet my nephew. I have gone to my sisters place with my Brother by holding two large Pizza for the kids. i really enjoyed y time out there and it was nice to be with my family. According to my knowledge this is the first time i spend my whole day with my brother.
Title of this blog is My Quarantine days. But why am i talking about my home time visit? Here is the answer......Give me some more time to reveal that. So my kerala days were going so fine and i have started missing chennai. i retured to chennai after 4 days. By that week the world had been facing a big threat of Covid 19. Kerala was one of the states which affected the most. people started buying sanitizors and masks. News about Corona virus was spreading more than the frequency of Corona Spreading. while returning from kerala i have bought banana chips from Calicut to distribute to office people. first day itself i have distributed chips to everybody including the people i dont know personally. Days were passing and newses started scaring people. In my company as well management was scared about the virus and they have started taking prequationary meassures. They have started keeping sanitizors where people gather. One day my manager called me and asked ''Do you have any physical problems like coughing or fever?'' I said yeah i have, actually i am having a normal cough in my entire life. within no time she has send an email to our Genaral manager that Prajeesh has Cough and he has just returned from kerala. when i came back to my system i have seen a message from my HR manager asking me to come and meet him. The meeting was litarally an intoragation. He was asking me questions after questions. when did i go to kerala, whom did i meet, where did i travel etc, i said Sir i have been to our temple, obivosly he would not expect 500 people in the temple. but there was more than 500 people. That was a our temople festival. people gathered, had food together, we have gone for rallies and all. well i have talked with lot of people in kerala. I told every thing to my HR and his face started changing and he started asking questions from a distance. After 30 minuts of intoragation he said we are giving you work from home. pack your things and systems and go home. i returned to my place and checked my email. Work from home option for Prajeesh is became official now. General manager asked me to go home and work. i have packed everything and left the company. I could see lot of people staring at me. I could read their face. some of them were jelous that i have got work form home and i am gonna enjoy. some people were scared that they have mingled with me and ate chips which i gave, so most probably they are scared that they might get Corana from me. But some people were feeling pity on me they really think that because i returned from kerala i have got Corona. They were asking me to take care of my health. And what i was feeling was "Nothing". It is not my choice, they asked me to go home and work and i accepted thats it.
I have set up systems in my tiny room. it was nice working in room. I used to work for longer hours because i have nothing else to do in room. And one day Modiji came on TV and mentioned about Janatha Curfew. I got really pissed off because i use to have food outside. on the day of Janatha Curfew none of the shopes remain open in the city. and i had only 2 options in my pocket. One is to go Kerala, another one is to Go to ''Subhayu''. Kerala wasnt possible because it is not possible to travel with all laggage and two monitors. Finally i decided to move to Subhay's flat.
As soon as i heared about the locked down i called my friend Shareena who stays near to my hostel and asked her to go back to her hometown. She is a new good friend of me since begining of 2020. One of the best thing happend in this year. She cares a lot about me. And i do the same as well. During my bad time she stood beside me and tried to get me out of the trauma which i was having past one year. She talks a lot, Scold me a lot for my mistakes. especially my drinking and smoking habits. we were trying together to reduse these habits. i wasnt loyal to myself so atleast im trying to be loyal for someone else and it almost worked. i redused my smoking habit. Well after the lokdown news she decided to go to her home town and i decided to move to Shubayus place. Next day afternoon i went to meet her in the afternoon by wearing a mask. As soon as i steped out of my hostel i saw people were staring at me for wearing a mask. I walked throgh the street and i saw lot of people laghing at me for wearing a mask. I was saying inside my mind that "Fuck you all". When i reached her hostel she was already outside her hostel. She was waiting out side with her hostel food which she was going to give me. We talked for some time and she gave her ATM card since i lot all my ATM cards. I said good bye and walked out. She also went to her home town. I have no idea when we are going to meet again.
I have informed Shubayu that i was coming. His room is a nice place to set up my systems. i have set up my work place in hall and we went out to grab a beer. We started celebrating our Work from home days. Same thing happned in the next day onwards, I was keep on working the whole day. Next day evening Subhayu and Sinjan went out to get some drinks. Since there is an uncertainity about lock down in the country it is better to stock some liqur as well. They got a full bottle of Signature. God it is so big. we were thinking to keep it for long but it got finished in two days.

Evening 5.pm i heared lot of noice outside. yeah those were the true citizens of India. They were doing something which prime minister asked them to do. PM asked every indian citizen to make some noice with whatever things they get in order to show respect to the health doctors and health department. I personally felt it as a good thing. But along with this plan he should have mentioned what are the plans of government to face the upcoming hard face.
